Primitive Mechanical Maintenance consists of cleaning dust, debris, and dirt that can accumulate in the unit, especially in filters, coils, and fins. Maintenance involves cleaning these components to prevent airflow restrictions and improve efficiency.

Inspecting and Replacing Filters: Air filters should be checked and replaced regularly. Clogged filters reduce airflow and strain the system.

Coil Cleaning: Both the evaporator and condenser coils need periodic cleaning to maintain heat exchange efficiency.

Checking Refrigerant Levels: Proper refrigerant levels are crucial for cooling. Maintenance may include checking for leaks and recharging if necessary.

Inspecting Electrical Components: All electrical connections, controls, and components should be inspected for wear or damage.

Lubricating Moving Parts: Lubrication of motors and
other moving parts helps reduce friction and extend their lifespan.

Checking Thermostat Calibration: The thermostat is calibrated to ensure accurate temperature control.

Inspecting and Clearing Drain Lines: Condensate drain lines can become clogged. Regular maintenance keeps them clear to prevent water damage.

Inspecting Ductwork: Inspecting the ductwork for leaks and blockages ensures efficient airflow.

Overall System Evaluation: Our Specialist will assess the overall performance and efficiency of the unit and make recommendations for improvements.

Upon completion of maintenance the status of mechanical equipment will be delivered to the customer by the technician.

Premium Maintenance consists of everything the Primitive Maintenance offers PLUS, two maintenance cleanings are included within the one-year period, beginning from the date of purchase and extending until the same date in the following year or until the second routine maintenance is completed.
